Terms of Service

Last updated July 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Fridays.bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are entering into these terms for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. The service

Fridays connects the third-party applications you authorize (such as accounting, email, calendar, and CRM tools) and performs routine work between them according to the instructions you configure. The service includes the web application, the Friday assistant, dispatch notifications, and the weekly Friday Report. We may improve, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice for material changes.

3. Your account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, for all activity under your account, and for ensuring your team members’ use complies with these terms. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

4. Approvals and automated actions

The service is designed so that actions that move money or send communications under your name pause for your explicit one-tap approval. You acknowledge that you are the final decision-maker for approved actions and that Fridays acts on your instruction. You are responsible for reviewing each approval request before confirming it.

5. Connected applications

Your use of connected third-party applications remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You represent that you have the right to connect each application and to authorize the access you grant. Disconnecting an application revokes Fridays’ access to it; some features will stop working as a result.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the rates shown at purchase. Annual plans include the equivalent of two months free relative to monthly pricing. Trials do not require a payment card; at the end of a trial your account converts to a paid plan only if you choose one. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law, infringe others’ rights, send spam or deceptive communications, attempt to access other customers’ environments, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or reverse engineer the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

8. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Information notice. As between the parties, you retain all rights in the business data processed through your connected applications; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service on your behalf.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that third-party applications will remain available or compatible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues. Our total aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law, with notice where practicable. Upon termination we will make your exportable data available for a reasonable period.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Information

Last updated July 1, 2026

1. Overview

This notice explains what personal information Fridays Technology Company collects, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Fridays.bot website, application, and related services.

2. Information we collect

Account information (name, business name, email, password hash); billing information (plan and payment method, handled by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers); content and metadata from applications you connect, strictly as needed to run the workflows you configure; usage information (log data, device and browser type, pages viewed); and communications you send us.

3. How we use information

To provide and operate the service, including executing workflows and generating your Friday Report; to secure the service and prevent abuse; to provide support; to bill and administer accounts; to improve the product using aggregated or de-identified data; and to communicate service notices. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your connected applications for advertising.

4. Isolation of customer data

Each customer’s workspace runs in its own isolated environment. Your data is never commingled with another customer’s data, and the component of the system that reads incoming information is architecturally separated from the component that takes actions in your accounts.

5. Sharing

We share information only with: service providers under contract who help us operate (hosting, payments, email delivery); the third-party applications you explicitly connect, as directed by your workflows; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. Any successor in a merger or acquisition would be bound by this notice.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and reviewed. We request the minimum scopes each workflow needs from connected applications, and disconnecting an application revokes our access.

7. Retention

We retain account information for the life of your account and for a limited period afterward as required for legal, tax, and audit purposes. Workflow content is retained only as long as needed to operate the service and honor your configuration; you may request earlier deletion.

8. International transfers

Where information is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized in your jurisdiction.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Submit requests to privacy@fridays.bot; we will verify and respond within the time required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

10. Contact and updates

Questions about this notice: privacy@fridays.bot. We will post any changes here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-product notice.

Responsible Disclosure

Last updated July 1, 2026

Our commitment

Security is foundational to Fridays — our customers trust us with their books and their inboxes. We welcome good-faith security research and are committed to working with researchers to verify and remediate vulnerabilities quickly.

How to report

Email security@fridays.bot with a description of the issue, steps to reproduce, the affected component or URL, and any proof-of-concept material. Please use encrypted email if the report contains sensitive details; our PGP key is available on request. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours and aim to provide a remediation timeline within 5 business days.

Scope

In scope: the Fridays.bot web application, APIs, and authentication flows. Out of scope: denial-of-service testing, social engineering of our staff or customers, physical attacks, spam, and vulnerabilities in third-party applications we connect to (report those to the respective vendor).

Ground rules

Make a good-faith effort to avoid privacy violations, data destruction, and service disruption. Only interact with accounts you own or have explicit permission to test. Do not access, modify, or exfiltrate data belonging to other customers. Stop testing and report immediately if you encounter another customer’s data.

Safe harbor

We will not initiate legal action against researchers who follow this policy in good faith. If a third party initiates action against you for research conducted under this policy, we will make it known that your activities were authorized.

Recognition

We do not currently operate a paid bounty program, but with your permission we credit meaningful reports in our security acknowledgments.

Trust

Nothing moves without you

Fridays never sends a message or moves money on its own initiative. Any action that touches your finances or goes out under your name pauses and waits for your explicit one-tap approval. Every approval request shows the literal action — payee, amount, recipient — never a paraphrase.

Isolated by design

Every customer’s business runs in its own private, isolated environment. Your data is never mixed with any other customer’s, and an issue in one environment cannot reach another.

Read and act are separated

The component that reads incoming information (such as email) is architecturally separated from the component that takes actions in your accounts. Even a malicious email cannot trick Fridays into making a payment or sending something on your behalf — this is a design property, not a setting.

Minimum necessary access

When you connect an application, we request only the scopes the workflows you configure actually need. You can see what Fridays can do in each app from your dashboard at any time.

You can leave at any time

Disconnecting an app instantly revokes Fridays’ access to it. Closing your account makes your exportable data available to you and removes it from our systems on the schedule described in the Privacy Information notice.

Transparency

Every action the service takes is recorded in a plain-language activity log and summarized in your weekly Friday Report, so you always know exactly what happened and when.

Your Privacy Choices

Last updated July 1, 2026

Your rights at a glance

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA, UK, California, or other US states with privacy laws), you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you; access a copy of it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; export it in a portable format; restrict or object to certain processing; and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" as those terms are defined by applicable law.

We do not sell your data

Fridays does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because of this, there is no "sale" to opt out of; we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control as a matter of policy.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@fridays.bot from the address associated with your account, or submit a request from your dashboard settings. We will verify your identity, respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days), and will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

Authorized agents

Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We may still need to verify your identity directly.

Appeals

If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; appeals are reviewed by someone other than the original decision-maker. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

AI Disclaimer

Last updated July 1, 2026

You are working with an AI system

Fridays uses artificial intelligence and automation to read, sort, draft, and act on information across the apps you connect. When you interact with Fridays — in chat, in approval prompts, or through automated actions — you are interacting with software, not a person. Where Fridays writes text for you (for example, drafting an email), that text is generated or assisted by AI.

Fridays does not give professional advice

Fridays helps you run routine business tasks. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, and nothing it produces is financial, accounting, bookkeeping, tax, investment, or legal advice. Before you rely on anything Fridays prepares — a reconciled figure, a categorized expense, a payment amount, a drafted message — treat it as a starting point and consult a qualified professional for decisions that matter.

AI can be wrong — check before you rely on it

AI systems can produce output that is incomplete, outdated, mis-categorized, or simply incorrect, and they can do so confidently. Fridays is provided “as is,” and we do not warrant that its output is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing Fridays’ work before acting on it — especially anything involving money, tax, legal obligations, deadlines, or messages sent on your behalf.

You approve. You stay in control.

Fridays handles routine work automatically and surfaces anything that needs a decision for your one-tap approval. When you approve an action, you are authorizing it — and you remain responsible for the actions you approve, the same as if you had performed them yourself.

How automation and approval work

Fridays runs low-risk, routine tasks on its own (for example, sorting email or organizing records). For actions that carry consequences — sending payments, issuing communications, or changing data in your connected apps — Fridays asks for your approval first. A person (you or someone you authorize) makes the final call on those decisions.

Fridays acts inside the apps you connect

When you connect a service such as QuickBooks, Gmail, Microsoft 365, or Zoho, you authorize Fridays to access and act within it on your behalf. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Fridays is not responsible for their availability, changes, outages, or how they handle your data. You are responsible for having the right to connect each account and for keeping those authorizations current.

Your data

To do its job, Fridays processes the business data in the apps you connect. How we collect, use, store, and protect that data is described in our Privacy Information notice. If anything here conflicts with that notice, the Privacy Information notice governs data handling.

No guaranteed outcomes

Fridays is a tool to reduce busywork. It does not guarantee any particular financial result, time savings, regulatory or tax compliance, or that a task will be completed by a given deadline. Automated actions depend on the connected services working as expected and on the accuracy of the underlying data.

Where this fits

This AI Disclaimer is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Information, which include the limitations of liability that apply to your use of Fridays. We may update this disclaimer as the product and the law evolve; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
